I am currently the 4 year old preschool teacher, 6th grade Reading, Math, Language Arts, Science and Spelling teacher and am in charge of the Library.

  ~ Personal ~

I grew up on a farm in Arlington, South Dakota.  I graduated in 1999 from Arlington High School and went to college at the University of South Dakota in Vermillion where I majored in Elementary Education with endorsements in Kindergarten, Language Arts, Math, and Science. 

I moved to Lake Preston in December of 2004 and started working at the Lake Preston School District in January.  I have held many different positions at Lake Preston including, Kids First Afterschool Program Site Coordinator, classroom paraprofessional, 7th Math, 8th Math, and 9th grade Basic Algebra teacher, 3 year old preschool teacher, 4 year old preschool teacher, 6th grade Reading, Language Arts, Math and Spelling teacher, and Librarian.  I have also been the head track coach since 2010 and was the assistant coach for three year before that.

I graduated with my Masters of Science Degree in Human Development Family and Consumer Sciences with a Child and Family studies specialization.

 I have a husband, Ben, and we have two sons, Kameron and Kade.
